98% of our jewelry is crafted from 14K or 18K gold-plated brass or stainless steel.
This high-quality plating allows you to wear your pieces daily, even around water without easily tarnishing.

All of our jewelry is nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin. I personally have sensitive skin, and every piece has been tested by me to ensure it’s comfortable and safe to wear.

Everyday Wear

Our gold-plated pieces are designed for daily use. You can confidently wear them:

1. While washing hands
2. In light rain
3. During regular day-to-day activities

However, like all gold-plated jewelry, long and frequent exposure to water (especially daily showers, swimming pools, or hot tubs) may gradually dull the gold finish over time.

How to Extend the Life of Your Jewelry

To keep your jewelry looking their best:

1. Remove before swimming in pools or the ocean.
2. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals.
3. Remove before heavy workouts to prevent sweat buildup.
4. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
5. Store in a dry place, ideally in a pouch or jewelry box.

Micro crochet jewelry is made with fine cotton thread, exposure to water and moisture can weaken the fibers, affect the shape, and reduce the durability of the piece over time. Perfumes, lotions, and sweat may also cause discoloration or damage to both the thread and the 925 sterling silver components. Proper care helps preserve the delicate craftsmanship, color, and overall beauty of the jewelry for longer.
